Chirasree is an amazing writer who brews magic through her words. I can say this with all confidence because I have never missed a single story on her blog. You can head on to sreeblogs and read some of her mind-blowing short stories before you decide to buy her Novel. ‘Done With Her‘ is Chirasree’s debut novel and a kick start to her Official journey as a published author.

Avesh Mathur, a techie stumbles upon the enchanting and sultry Spreeha at work. Every man in his office wants to have her. But, he is struck with horror. She happens to resemble a girl from his past. The past that he’d do anything to keep under wraps.

Spreeha lives next door to Avesh. She watches him furtively day and night even though she has a lover. He intrigues her, however, she’s not done with her lover. She wants them both because they remind her of someone.

What tragedy awaits Avesh? Is the girl he’s madly falling for as beautiful on the inside as on the outside? Will he finally have to face the frightening truth that he’s been stashing for two years?

My Review

A short and well penned romantic thriller with dark ends. The story revolves around 4 characters who has a terrible past. All the chaos start when Spreeha, a girl who looks like Chanda joins Avesh’s Office. It takes a lot of twists and turns to keep the reader hooked until the last page. ‘Done with Her’ is a pretty small novel which you can finish in one sitting.

What I liked about ‘Done With Her

• The beautiful writing style of the Author is something noteworthy about this novel.
• The highly sophisticated vocabulary of the Author adds to the charm of the story. She absolutely knows how to make use of her word power. Also if you are someone like me with a pretty weak vocabulary, this book will make you fall in love with words.

What I did not like about ‘Done With Her’

• The Book Cover could have been much better. It looks classic but misses out to highlight the title of the novel. The title is supposed to be the first thing people should notice on a book cover.
• The climax was a little unacceptable to me. It was not bad but could have been more realistic.
